Racial Equity
This initiative is not open to funding enquiries or applications.
In 2023, The Clothworkers’ Foundation launched its Racial Equity Programme. The Programme emerged as a legacy of the work we did to better our grant making in 2020 and afterwards, and it sits within a broader approach to Equity across our current five-year strategy (2023-27).
Through this £1.35 million initiative, The Foundation is strategically supporting organisations at different stages of their development with multi-year unrestricted funding.
Overseen by our Proactive Programmes Committee, the Racial Equity Programme sets out to strengthen strategically important organisations which can make an impact on racial equity in our society. Working alongside our Learning Partners, we are intentionally building trust-based relationships, based on deep knowledge of their strategic goals and regular conversations about progress against these.
